Over the past decade, IWF Finland has grown into a vibrant, values-driven community of women leaders committed to advancing the IWF mission, embodying our local forum values Unite, Uplift and Unleash, and fostering meaningful global dialogue. This anniversary is both a moment to celebrate what we have built together, and an opportunity to look ahead to the future of leadership, connection, and impact.
The celebration brought together Women from around the world
In June we celebrated IWF Finland's 10th anniversary together with 50 members, 30 international guests from across Europe and North America, and nine distinguished women ambassadors accredited to Finland. We were privileged to welcome three members of the global IWF Board, Kimberly Cooper, Elisabeth Ourliac, and Julie Goldstein, whose work continues to advance women's leadership around the world.
The anniversary weekend featured a thoughtfully curated program combining interactive conversations, shared experiences with local flavor, and inspiring social moments.
On Friday we started the program at Ernst & Young with IWF Finland’s history reflection and leadership talks. The evening’s highlights was a festive anniversary dinner at Helsinki Bourse Club. Saturday began with a rejuvenating morning session themed “In Conversation With…”, followed by exciting behind the scenes visits and shopping opportunities at some of Finland’s most iconic institutions and brands, including the Finnish National Opera and Ballet, Marimekko, Andiata and Kalevala Jewelry. Saturday evening, we gathered for a warm, relaxed dine-around hosted by IWF Finland's former and current board members & presidents.
Over the past decade, IWF Finland has shown what is possible when a clear sense of purpose is combined with ambition and a commitment to impact: creating opportunities for growth, mentoring, global collaboration and meaningful connection.
It was such a joy to host the inspiring celebration and weekend in Helsinki. Thanks to all our guests who made the celebration magical. 🧡
