Effectiveness, or impact, has become an important criterion in selecting investment targets. An increasing number of investors want to achieve not only returns but also measurable social or environmental benefits. In just over a decade, the industry has grown from zero to 500 billion (EUR) and it certainly would not have been possible if the returns had not been good enough. The strong involvement of institutional investors, in particular, can be seen as evidence of good returns. In the morning we will delve into impact investing. What it is? How is it different from responsible investing? And what kind of returns can you expect to get from an impact investment?
